Is Osteo-Arthritis ruining your life?
It doesn’t have to... it hasn't stopped me

Race Circuit Action!

Castle Combe

First day out, brilliant day and raring to go for the rest of the week!

Rode from Castle Combe across Salisbury plain to Thruxton for two more race laps...

Brands Hatch
An arthritic old bloke on a bike is not what you expect to see at this famous circuit

Something I thought I would never see at my age - powering over the line at the venue for the British Grand Prix

Mallory Park
Long shadows show a late afternoon as I come down from the hairpin at Mallory, one of the great motor cycle circuits.

I was planning a good hour at Snetterton, but gales and torrential rain made even two laps really tough...

Cadwell Park
I don't remember hills being this steep on the motor bike!
Cadwell is a fabulous country park setting for a race circuit, but with all those hills, it is one of the toughest under peddle-power.

Oulton Park
The final day at Oulton got off to a great start thanks to Tom Dooley, Vice President and Chairman (North West) of British Racing and Sports Car Club.

Here he is flagging me off between Formula Ford and sports car races. Race marshals and spectators certainly seemed bemused to see me pedaling round.

Tom Dooley even provided a laurel wreath for the 'winner' picture!
